This course is aimed at upper-secondary (THPT) students, university learners, and working adults who need practical IT for study, projects, and everyday office work — not the Scratch/Robotics programming track. The core level builds reliable routines in documents, spreadsheets, and presentations; the advanced level adds longer reports, light data work, and collaboration habits suited to graduation projects, coursework, or workplace deliverables. IC3 and MOS remain separate, exam-focused tracks you can add when you want an industry-recognized credential on top of these application skills.
Core level — study & office foundations
- Confident everyday computing: accounts and storage, consistent file naming, backups, printing/PDF hand-in, and basic security hygiene for school, campus, or company laptops.
- Word processing and templates for essays, lab write-ups, meeting notes, or simple proposals; starter charts and slide layouts for class presentations or internal updates.
Advanced level — projects, data, and collaboration
- Multi-page reports and group deliverables: structured outlines, styles, tables of contents, speaker notes, and spreadsheet models for budgets, grades, or small datasets.
- Research and reuse with integrity: picking credible sources, citing basics, version control habits with classmates or colleagues — complementary to, not a substitute for, dedicated IC3/MOS certification prep.
Class format
Small groups by learner profile (THPT vs university vs workplace) so examples stay relevant; most of each session is hands-on practice, with concise assignments and clear criteria you can track week to week.
